A is for Adapt

Identify the problem

Being able to adapt is our ability to deal with disappointment, to change something we’re doing when things don’t go to plan. We’re pretty sure that you’re already doing lots of different things, how about remind yourself that you’re coping super-well with lots of changes at the moment You can also help yourself adapt to all the changes with this simple trick - swap hands or feet!

Fun things to practice

  1. change up your knives & forks when you eat your food

  2. swap your hands when you brush your teeth or hair

  3. write with your other hand

  4. wear your watch on the opposite wrist

  5. kick a football with your other foot

Practicing this fun little change up will help your brain to work with it’s non dominant side & think a little harder, in a new way. You might find you get creative or you might find it super difficult, whatever it is how about give it a go and let us know how you get on!
