A is for Adapt
Identify the problem
Being able to adapt is our ability to deal with disappointment, to change something we’re doing when things don’t go to plan. We’re pretty sure that you’re already doing lots of different things, how about remind yourself that you’re coping super-well with lots of changes at the moment You can also help yourself adapt to all the changes with this simple trick - swap hands or feet!
Fun things to practice
change up your knives & forks when you eat your food
swap your hands when you brush your teeth or hair
write with your other hand
wear your watch on the opposite wrist
kick a football with your other foot
Practicing this fun little change up will help your brain to work with it’s non dominant side & think a little harder, in a new way. You might find you get creative or you might find it super difficult, whatever it is how about give it a go and let us know how you get on!
